Wiki Best Practices
I love working with a wiki.
There are a few good practices worth embracing:
1. Use WikiNames
* Use a pattern for your names. Pick a prefix or suffix to group similar
pages.
* Avoid grouping project pages by team.
* Eventually, your documentaton will natually link to other docs.
1. Use RssFeeds
* You need to see what's going into the wiki.
* publish updates in a widget?
1. Use WikiMacros
* Include links to all pages with Qa in the title: [[TitleIndex(Qa)]]
* Include links to all pages with 'Spec' in the title:
[[TitleIndex(Specs)]]
1. Just put it in the wiki:
* Meeting Notes
* Plans
* Important phone numbers
* links to tools and software
* RSS feeds
